Russian Summer School on Institutional Analysis 2007
Despite RSSIA was a brand new event for Russian academic society, in 2007 we received more than 70 applications from numerous Russian cities and even from abroad: Almaty, Astrakhan, Barnaul, Berdyansk, Berezovsky, Biisk, Bishkek, Volgograd, Vologda, Dushanbe, Ekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Irkutsk, Ioshkar Ola, Kazan, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St.-Petersburg, Saratov, Tomsk, Ulan-Ude, Ulyanovsk, Khabarovsk, Shymkent.
Most of the applicants were young researchers, PhD and Master students from the largest regional universities. Some of them participated in scientific and academic projects and events organized by the Higher School of Economics earlier.
The most popular topics of the papers included economics of education, labor market institutions, economics of regulation and bureaucracy, and institutional forms of business organization.
