Despite RSSIA is a brand new event for Russian academic society, we received more than 70 applications from numerous Russian cities and even from abroad. This geography covers Almaty, Astrakhan, Barnaul, Berdyansk, Berezovsky, Biisk, Bishkek, Volgograd, Vologda, Dushanbe, Ekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Irkutsk, Ioshkar Ola, Kazan, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St.-Petersburg, Saratov, Tomsk, Ulan-Ude, Ulyanovsk, Khabarovsk, Shymkent.
Most of the applicants are young researchers, PhD and Master students from the largest regional universities. Some of them participated in scientific and academic projects and events organized by Higher School of Economics earlier.
The most popular topics of the papers we received include Economics of Education, Labor Market Institutions, Economics of Regulation and Bureaucracy and Institutional Forms of Business Organization.
