Institutional Dynamics Viewed by Economists and Sociologists
In 2008 RSSIA was held in Russian. We received more than 150 applications from different Russian regions as well as from CIS countries. The applicants were from Apatity, Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan, Barnaul, Biisk, Blagoveshchensk, Bryansk, Vladikavkaz, Vologda, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Ioshkar Ola, Kazan, Kemerovo, Kirov, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Kursk, Moscow, Murmansk, Nizhni Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orel, Penza, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St.-Petersburg, Saratov, Stavropol, Surgut, Taganrog, Tambov, Tver, Tolyatti, Tomsk, Tyumen, Ulan-Ude, Ulyanovsk, Khabarovsk, Yakutsk, Yaroslavl as well as from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine.
The topics of the applications covered wide range of spheres of institutional analysis. They varied from students' educational strategies and Russian universities' organizational changes to public services' and private firms' behavioral patterns and administrative barriers, from models of innovation networks to routines related to mortgage loans.
