The applicants were from: Almaty, Beijing, Belgrade, Calcutta, Delhi, Dresden, Florence, Wuhan, Astrakhan, Belgorod, Blagoveshchensk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kemerovo, Kiev, Kostroma, Krasnoyarsk, Minsk, Moscow, Nizhnekamsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Penza, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Seversk, Tomsk,  Shakhty.
In 2010 RSSIA was first held in English as a working language.
