In 2009 the working language at RSSIA was Russian. However, the lectures by John Nye (George Mason University) were delivered in English.
We received more than 100 applications from different Russian regions. The selected participants were from: Astrakhan', Birobidzhan, Blagoveshchensk, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Khanty-Mansiysk, Kiev, Krasnoyarsk, Minsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Odessa, Omsk, Petrozavodsk, Saint-Petersburg, Saratov, Tomsk, Vologda, and Voronezh.
